Media team to visit Tipai dam
A 10-member media team from the country will leave for India today to visit the Tipaimukh Dam project in its Northeastern state of Manipur.
The team, comprising journalists of three Bangla dailies, two English dailies, a private news agency and two private TV channels, is visiting India till June 8 at the invitation of its government.
The journalists will be briefed on the project in New Delhi from June 3-4.
The team will later visit the Tipaimukh site by helicopter.
Foreign ministry deputy director (external affairs wing) Md Zashimuddin will accompany the media team.
