Two die in road crashes
Two people were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents in Rangpur and Pabna on Monday and yesterday.
Our Rangpur correspondent reports: A bus hit a motorbike from opposite direction on Pirgachha-Rangpur road in Monurchara area of Pirgachha upazila on Monday afternoon, killing the motorcyclist, Anwar Hossain, 25, instantly and injuring two others.
Injured, Faruk Hossain, 26, and Shahadul Islam, were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
In Pabna, a bus of a factory ran over a worker, Md Anwar Hossain, 20, inside the factory in the sadar upazila yesterday morning, killing him on the spot.
Agitating workers of the factory held demonstration protesting the accident.
