Two electrocuted in Ctg
Two men died after being electrocuted in separate incidents in the port city yesterday morning.
The dead were identified as Altaf Hossain, 25, and Sohrab Khan, 40.
Altaf, an employee of a restaurant in Firingi Bazar Fishery Ghat area, was trying to put up a canopy on the roof of the restaurant during rain. He received electric shock when he, by mistake, tried to tie the canopy with an electric wire.
Altaf was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Sohrab, a CNG run auto-rickshaw driver, was electrocuted when an electric wire fell on his vehicle in Chittagong Court Building Area.
Locals took Sohrab to CMCH where he was declared dead.
