Youth's body found
Body of an SSC holder of 2012 was found on a paddy field at Berapathalia village in Jamalpur Sadar upazila yesterday.
The victim was Shamim Hassan, 20, son of auto-rickshaw driver Muslim Uddin of Purbo-Mukundabari in Jamalpur town. He passed the SSC examination this year from Jamalpur Technical School and College.
Villagers found his body around 6:00am and informed police, who recovered the body and sent it to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police said Shamim might have been strangulated by miscreants on Tuesday night.
Muslim Uddin filed a case with Sadar police.
