Unipay2u investors to go for agitation
Unipay2u Members' Club Ltd, a platform for aggrieved investors of Unipay2u Bangladesh, a controversial multi-level marketing company, yesterday threatened to go for agitation programmes if they did not get a refund within 15 days.
“We will organise a human chain before Jatiya Press Club on June 9 and a rally before the company's Dhanmondi office in Dhaka on June 15,” said the members' club President Muhammad Sarwar at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club.
Unipay2u Bangladesh started off in 2009 announcing to double investments in 10 months by investing in gold mines, though it was illegal without Bangladesh Bank's permission.
