Rickshaw-puller dies as train hits him
A rickshaw-puller was killed as a train hit him at Mohakhali in the capital yesterday.
The victim is Md Rana alias Sentu, 26.
Sirajul Islam, assistant sub-inspector of Kamalapur Government Railway Police Station, quoting witnesses said a Tongi-bound train hit Sentu while he was crossing the rail tracks around 11:00am.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with severe head injuries where he died around 12:30pm.
