Indian saris seized in Ctg
Police have seized around 500 pieces of Indian saris worth about Tk 10 lakhs from a truck in Shitolpur area in Sitakunda Upazila in Chittagong early yesterday.
Humayon kabir, officer-in-charge (OC) at Baro Awlia Highway Police Station, said, “We found the truck in an abandoned condition after it collided head-on with another vehicle on the highway in the area.”
“We sized the truck and but could not arrest anybody,” he said adding, "No case was filed in this connection.”
