World Blood Donor Day observed
Sandhani, Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Unit, an organisation for voluntary blood and cornea donation, yesterday organised a colourful programme on the campus to mark “World Blood Donor Day 2012”.
The programme began with a colourful procession following which a discussion was held at the college's lecture hall.
Referring to this year's slogan “Every blood donor is a hero”, CMCH Director Brig Gen Fashiur Rahman said donating blood can save a life and nothing could be greater than that.
