Rickshaw-puller dies as train hits him
A rickshaw-puller was crushed under the wheel of train at Bidirpur in Chapainawabganj yesterday.
The victim is Sumon Ali, 25, a rickshaw puller and son of Solaiman Ali of Bidirpur mohalla in the town.
Railway police said a Rohanpur-bound Mohananda Express from the district town crushed Sumon when he was asleep on the railway track near his house around 1:00am.
Railway police recovered the body around 9:00am yesterday.
An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with Amnura GRP Station in this connection.
