15 injured in flash storm in Lalmonirhat
A flash storm wrecked havoc in Lalmonirhat district on Thursday night, leaving some 15 people injured and flattening around 350 semi-concrete and tin homes and partially damaging around 3,500 others, said the district administration.
Starting from around 10:00pm, the 30-minute rainstorm accompanied by gale-force winds uprooted some 1,000 trees of 30 villages in Lalmonirhat sadar, Aditmari, Kaligo and Hatibandha upazilas.
