Ctg Collegiate School wins debate competition
The three-day long Confidence Cement-Prothom Alo School Debate Competition 2012 ended in Chittagong city yesterday with Chittagong Collegiate School taking home the championship trophy.
Ispahani Public School and College and Silver Bells Girls High School secured the first and second runner up positions respectively.
Prof Moinul Islam of Chittagong University gave away the awards to the winning teams at Chittagong Shilpokola.
Resident Editor of Prothom Alo Abul Momen and director of confidence cement Ashis Kanti Palit were present at the programme.
Meanwhile, in the Barowari debate competition, Samantha Alam of Silver Bells Girls High School won the first prize while Anupam Debashis Roy of Chittagong Collegiate School and Tasmin Binte Maksud of Chittagong Cantonment Public School and College secured the second and third prize respectively.
