1 held in 'connection' with murder
A youth was arrested yesterday allegedly in connection with the murder case of Badsha Mia, who was hacked to death at Hathazari upazila in Chittagong on Friday.
The arrestee was Jashim Uddin, 23, son of Ansar Ali hailed from Tulatoli in Gate Number-2 area of Chittagong city.
Police arrested him from Amin Colony in Aturar Depot area of the port city around 3:00am, said Nurul Hakim, sub-inspector (SI) of Hathazari Police Station.
The SI, however, refused to mention how police arrested Jashim or knew about his involvement in the murder.
