2 held, Yaba tablets seized
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested two youths and seized 700 pieces of contraband Yaba tablet allegedly from their possession at Chandanaish upazila in Chittagong on Friday.
The arrestees were Ujjal Mullik, 26, and Md Rassel, 19, both hailed from Cox's Bazar.
Tipped-off, a Rab-7 team led by Lt Commander Nuruzzaman conducted a drive in the upazila's Moulvi Bazar area around 8:00pm on Friday and caught the duo outside a local dispensary named ''Khawza Pharmacy,” said Rab-7 sources.
The elite force also seized the Yaba tablets, worth Tk 2.8 lakh, from the youths, they said.
