CCC cleaners demand confirmation of service
The Harijan community yesterday submitted a memorandum to the Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) mayor with four-point demand.
They demanded for confirmation of their service, longer maternal leave period along with others leaves, adult, widow and maternal allowances, and education facility for the children of their community, said CCC Public Relation Officer Saifuddin Ahmad.
After receiving the memorandum, CCC Mayor Manjurul Alam sat in a meeting with the representatives of Harijan Oikya Parishad and assured them of fulfilling the demands.
