Int'l workshop on disaster held
A daylong international workshop titled “Human security and natural disaster: Bangladesh perspective” was held in the capital yesterday.
Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and Comprehensive Disaster Management Programme jointly organised the workshop at Defence Services Command and Staff College in Mirpur Cantonment.
Environment and Forest Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud attended the programme as chief guest along with different university teachers, armed forces senior officers and foreign participants.
