Cook killed in capital
Unidentified assailants strangulated a cook of a restaurant to death in the capital's Nurerchela area yesterday.
The victim was Mohammad Ali, 40.
SM Arifur Rahman, sub-inspector at Bhatara Police Station, said colleagues of Mohammad found him dead in his room.
Police recovered the body with a towel tied around the neck, and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
