Two robbers held in Ctg
Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG), East Zone, arrested two alleged robbers from a foreign ship in Chittagong on Sunday.
The arrestees were Shahidul Alam, 25 and Badal Hawladar, 27, of Bagerhat and Jhalakathi respectively, said a press release.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of BCG conducted a drive at the ship “Mv Ling Yen Star” around 6:30pm, it said.
The ship brought from Panama was anchored at outer anchorage for scraping.
A case was filed with Bandar Police Station in this regard.
