Death anniversary
Today is the first death anniversary of Language Movement veteran Principal Shamsuddin Muhammad Ishaq, said a press release.
On the occasion, a doa and milad mahfil will be held at Chittagong's Shishu Baag School, which was established by Ishaq.
Along with the school, he also established Chittagong Bangla College.
Born in Chittagong on August 1 of 1933, Ishaq was an educationalist, Islamic researcher, and author.
