2 more held for double murder
Rapid Action Battalion yesterday arrested two accused in a sensational double-murder case from Doloipara area in Sylhet city.
The arrestees are, Mahbub Alam, 24, of Ibrahimpur village in Sunamganj Sadar upazila, and Md Ruhul Amin Rana, 20, of Madarkhal village in Zakiganj upazila in Sylhet.
On June 9, a minor girl and her grandmother were killed at their house in the Sylhet city's Doloipara area.
Officials at the Rab-9 said, both Mahbub and Rana admitted their involvement in the killing.
Earlier, two workers of a cable service operator were also arrested in connection with the murder.
