Obituary
Former lawmaker and educationalist Abdul Aziz Chowdhury passed away due to old age complications at his residence in Sylhet's Shahjalal Upashahar area on Thursday. He was 79.
He left behind his wife, son and daughter.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held on Monday at the premises of the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) after Asr prayers.
Abdul was an organiser in the Liberation War. He was also the headmaster of Nabiganj JK High School in Habiganj.
BNP Vice-Chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and former MP Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury condoled the death.
