Four shops gutted in Ctg
Four semi-pucca shops were gutted in a fire in Chittagong city yesterday.
The fire originated from an electric short circuit at one of the shops in Seamen's Hostel Area and soon engulfed the adjacent shops, said fire service sources.
Two fire fighting units doused the flame after one hour's efforts.
The fire service officials estimated the loss at Tk 7 lakh.
