Traffic thru Borni bridge resumes today
Suspended for eight days, traffic on Sylhet-Companiganj road will resume today as construction of a new baily bridge at a cost of Tk 20 lakh is complete.
The double-lane steel bridge at Borni plummeted with six trucks, one microbus and an auto-rickshaw on June 15 night, killing three people and injuring 10 others.
The old bridge collapsed down due to movement of overloaded trucks at a time, he added.
