Obituary
Suraiya Zaman, wife of Kamruzzamn, deputy general manager of accounts at Bangla daily Samakal, yesterday died at a hospital in the capital yesterday. She was 52. She left behind her husband, three sons, relatives and well wishers to mourn the death. She was buried at Mirpur Intellectuals' Graveyard after her second namaz-e-janaza at a mosque in sector-3 area of Uttara. Earlier, her first namaz-e-janaza was held at Kobi Jasim Uddin road in the capital's Kamlapur.
