One held with 800 Yaba tablets
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized 800 pieces of Yaba tablets at Ukhia upazila in Cox's Bazar yesterday and held a person in this connection.
The arrestee was Bashir Ahmed, 35, son of Jahir Ahmed of the district's Teknaf upazila.
Tipped-off, a team from Cox's Bazar camp of Rab-7 conducted a drive at Shuvo Guest House in Court Bazar area of Ukhia upazila around 6:30pm and arrested Bashir and seized the Yaba tablets from his possession.
