Housewife dies in lightning
A housewife was killed in lightning at Gopshana village in Keshabpur upazila of Jessore district yesterday morning.
The deceased is Hajera Begum, 24, wife of Mizanur Rahman.
Locals said Hajera died instantly and her two-year-old daughter, Antora, got injured as a thunderbolt struck them while they were taking rest in their house.
Antora was admitted to Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex.
