Man killed as train hits him
An unidentified man aged around 40 was killed as a train hit him near Lahiri Mohonpur Railway Station in Ullapara upazila in the early hours of yesterday.
Sirajganj Railway Police Officer-in-Charge Laisur Rahman said the man died instantly after being hit by an intercity train, Sundarban Express.
Railway police recovered the body at noon and sent it to Sirajganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
An injury mark was found in the head of the deceased.
