2 RHD engrs served show cause notice
Show cause notices were served on two engineers of Roads and Highways Department (RHD) on charges of their negligence of duty.
They are Mohammad Shahabuddin, superintendent engineer of RHD (Dhaka zone), and executive engineer of Gazipur Utpal Samanta.
The action was taken following a directive by Communications Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday.
The minister expressed his dissatisfaction over mismanagement after visiting the Dhaka-Gazipur road and then issued the directive.
