Vegetable vendor hacked to death
A vegetable vendor died early yesterday after being hacked by a group of people in Chowkidekhi area of Sylhet city on Sunday.
Police and locals said a group of people had chopped Moibur Rahman, 22, of the city's Badambagicha area, with sharp weapons around 8:00pm on Sunday as he had asked them why they had beaten his younger brother hours before.
Pedestrians took him to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospitall where Moibur succumbed to his injuries around 2:30am.
