People of 40 Barisal villages fasted yesterday
Following Saudi Arabia, villagers of 40 villages under four districts of Barisal have started fasting for the month Ramadan from yesterday.
They are the residents of villages under Barisal, Patuakhali, Bhola and Jhalakati districts.
Abdur Rashid, one of the villagers, said they usually observe all religious festivals and customs and worship according to the calendar and systems of Saudi Arabia.
