Student's body found
Police recovered the body of a college student from the river Padma near Padma Garden in Rajshahi city yesterday.
The deceased Aslam Hossain Rocky, 19, was a student of Barendra College.
Boalia Police Station Sub-Inspector Nazrul Islam said a boatman found the body floating on the river in the morning. Following request from the victim's relatives and police, he dragged the body to the shore.
Rocky went missing on Saturday afternoon after he, along with two other friends, went to the river near Padma Garden for bathing, the police added.
