Muggers stab 3 of a family
A gang of muggers stabbed three members of a family, and snatched an iPhone and Tk 25,000 in cash from them on Central Road in the capital early yesterday.
The injured Iqbal Hossain, 50, a businessman, his wife and their son Omi, 18, were treated at Central Hospital in the city.
Kalabagan police told The Daily Star that the incident occurred while the family members were returning home on foot around 12:30am and then a private car carrying around four muggers waylaid them.
Later, locals caught one of the muggers named Kanak, 35, and recovered a bomb, two knives and toy pistol from his possession.
