Two brother-in-laws of Abdul Awal engaged into a quarrel over family property at the programme. At one stage, Mohammad Suhrawardy, a brother-in-law of Awal, opened fire on his brother. But a bullet 'mistakenly' hit Khairul's chest, said Palash. Khairul rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, he added.
