Girl's body hanging from tree found in Chapainawabganj
Police recovered the body of a girl hanging by the neck from a tree in a mango orchard at Mirerchara village of sadar upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday.
Police and the villagers suspect that the deceased Motori Khatun, 19, daughter of Mohammad Alauddin of the village, was raped before being murdered and hung from the tree.
The body, bearing several marks of injury, was sent to the sadar hospital morgue for autopsy while the victim's father Alauddin filed a case against unidentified persons.
