Youth held for murder
Police arrested a youth yesterday in the capital's Tejgaon on charge of stabbing a vegetable trader to death at Farmgate on Sunday.
The arrestee, Md Shahdat Hossain, 35, has confessed to killing of Md Anis.
Quoting his statement, Tejgaon Police Station Sub-Inspector Kazi Sahan Haque said Shahdat and his wife lived near Anwara Park. Anis used to visit them and at one stage he built up an 'extramarital relationships' with his wife.
Shahdat stabbed Anis to death as he was found with his wife on Sunday night, the SI added.
