Welder dies in fall from building
A man fell to his death from an under-construction multi-storey building in VIP road area of the capital's Shantinagar yesterday.
The deceased was Mohammed Sohail, 32, of Manikganj. His body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
Quoting his co-workers, Paltan police said Sohail was doing welding work on the building's outer wall when he received an electric shock and fell down from the building's 9th floor, dying instantly.
