Journalist killed in road crash
A journalist was killed and another journalist injured as a three-wheeler hit their motorbike on Dhaka-Pabna highway in Ganghati area yesterday evening.
The deceased was Md Abul Kashem, 50, acting editor of a local daily, the Muktir Michhil, of Pabna. The injured was Md Lazuk, a reporter of My TV.
Sources said the three-wheeler (Nasiman) rammed their motorbike in the area around 6:00pm while they were coming to Pabna from Santhia.
Kashem and Lazuk were taken to Pabna Medical College Hospital where Kashem died.
