Man crushed under train wheels
An unidentified man was crushed under the wheels of a train in Thakurgaon Railway Station area yesterday.
Contacted over phone, Station Master Monzur Rahman said a Santahar-bound local train coming from Panchagarh hit the man while it reached near the signal area at the southern side of the station towards Dinajpur.
The unidentified man, aged about 62 years, was left spot dead, he said.
On information, Bangladesh Railway Police personnel from Dinajpur recovered the body and sent it to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
