Govt to deploy Rab unit in Khagrachhari: Home minister
A unit of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) will be deployed in Khagrachhari district to stop criminal activities soon.
Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir yesterday told a views exchange meeting, organised by Khagrachhari district administration in the town.
A new police station will also be set up in Matiranga upazila.
With Deputy Commissioner Anis ul Haque Bhuyan in the chair, local lawmaker Jatindra Lal Tripura, and Khagrachhari SP Joynul Abadin also spoke.
