Housewife killed in Ctg
A housewife was allegedly killed by her husband in Agrabad of Chittagong on Saturday.
The deceased, Rubi Akhter, 30, wife of Jasim Uddin, resided with her husband at a flat in the area.
Jasim killed Rubi after they quarrelled over his extra-marital affair, said Officer-in-Charge of Double Mooring Police Station Matiul Islam.
The victim's father said Jasim had an affair with their domestic help Sumi, he said.
Police arrested Sumi but Jasim, who is a trader, is absconding.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for an autopsy and a murder case was filed.
