Four killed in road crashes
Four people were killed and 15 others injured in road accidents in Sirajganj, Habiganj and Chittagong yesterday.
Our Sirajganj correspondent reports, a man was killed and 15 others were injured in a road accident on Hatikumrul-Bonpara highway in Goja area of Ullapara upazila yesterday.
Police said Sabuj Uddin, 22, was killed on the spot as a truck collided head-on with a bus around 4:00pm.
Our Sylhet correspondent reports, Shefali Akhtar, 30, and her son Sejan, 3, were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway near Olipur bus stand in Habiganj sadar upazila around 9:00am.
Our Chittagong correspondent reports, cart puller Sagar, 25, was killed in a road accident near 1st pool area of Khatunganj in the port city yesterday.
Police said the accident took place as the victim's tin-laden vehicle suddenly turned upside down on the road around 6:30pm.
He was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
