Banned items seized in Rajshahi
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized banned items worth Tk 1.91 crore from different parts of Rajshahi on Tuesday.
The BGB members seized contraband items including 961 bottles of phensidyl, 600 sacks of cement-ash and 835 pieces of betnovate cream, a medicine used to treat skin related diseases, from three trucks at Belpukur BGB check post in Rajshahi, said a press release.
Meanwhile, a taskforce led by executive magistrate Alamgir Hossain seized illegal fishing nets worth Tk 5.55 lakh from Kesharhat of Mohonpur upazila, it said.
