Interested will get enough time for registration: BMET
Workers interested to go to Malaysia will get adequate time to complete their online registration after the government open's the registration process, said Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) yesterday.
Some news reports published recently said that workers will get only a day to complete the online registration, thus creating controversy among workers.
BMET, however, issued a circular signed by its director general to clarify the matter.
The government will declare a fixed date to start the online registration, following which the workers can register themselves from their own unions, upazilas and districts, said BMET officials.
BMET warned the workers not to give money to any brokers in this regard.
The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be held in Kuala Lumpur between the Bangladeshi and Malaysian governments to recruit workers through state arrangements.
