Boy dies from electrocution in Ctg

A teenage boy was electrocuted to death while putting up the banner of a coaching centre yesterday in Chittagong city. The deceased was identified as Mohammed Sohag, 18, hailing from Choto Pool area of the city. Sohag, a daily labourer, was hired by Sanguine Coaching Centre to hang its banners in front of educational institutes in the city, said police. Sohag came in contact with a live wire while hanging up the banner on an electric pole in front of Omar Gani MES College under Khulshi Police Station, said Abdul Latif, officer-in-charge of the police station. He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where on-duty doctors declared him dead, said Nayek Abdur Rahman of CMCH police outpost.
