Man dies as train runs him over
Abdul Malek Chowdhury, 37, of Collegepara area in Gaibandha municipality, was killed as a train ran him over near the Gaibandha railway station on Tuesday evening.
Police said the victim died on the spot as a Rangpur-bound express train hit him while he was walking along the railway tracks.
Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body and sent it to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
