Four more prosecution witnesses give statements
Four more prosecution witnesses gave their statements before a Dhaka court yesterday regarding the killing of Saudi embassy official Khalaf Al Ali.
On March 6, Khalaf, an official at the consular section of the embassy in Dhaka, was shot dead near his Gulshan house in the capital's diplomatic enclave.
The prosecution witnesses who gave their statements are Dr Kamrul Hassan Sardar, an assistant professor of forensic department at Dhaka Medical College Hospital; Mohammad Shahidul Islam, an owner of a workshop; and rented car traders of Manikdia in Banani Abul Hossain Faisal and Matiur Rahman.
Later, defendant's lawyers cross-examined them.
The judge fixed November 14 for the next hearing.
Earlier, fifteen prosecution witnesses gave their statements in the case.
