Road crashes kill three, hurt two
Three people were killed and two others injured in road accidents in Magura, Sylhet and Noakhali on Sunday and yesterday.
Our Magura correspondent reports, Biplab Shariar, 22, of Kashinathpur in Magura municipality, died as a bus hit him while he was crossing Magura-Jhenidah highway in Kashinathpur area on Sunday night.
UNB from Sylhet reports, Rabiul Islam, 30, son of Irshad Ali of Habiganj, died when a truck crashed into his motorbike on Sylhet-Airport road at Ambarkhana in Sylhet city early yesterday.
A mob vandalised the truck.
BSS from Noakhali reports, rickshaw-puller Abul Kalam, 55, was killed and his two passengers were injured as a speeding vehicle hit the rickshaw in Shenerpul area of Begumganj upazila on Sunday noon.
