Girl 'commits suicide' in Ctg
A girl yesterday allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom of her relative's residence at Bakalia in Chittagong.
Juli Akhter, 15, daughter of Md. Ripon, of Balirhat, went to visit her relatives yesterday where she got into the bathroom around 12:30pm for bathing, said police.
Being informed by the victim's relatives, police broke into the washroom and found Juli hanging with a towel from the shower, said Nurul Absar Bhuyian, officer-in-charge of Bakalia Police Station.
Quoting the victim's parents, the OC said Juli was suffering from mental disorders.
