More tribunals for war crimes trial demanded
Leaders of Peshajibi Shomonnay Parishad yesterday demanded increasing the number of tribunals to speed up the war crimes trials and finish those by December 16.
They also demanded banning politics of Jamaat-e-Islami at a human chain in front of Jatiya Press Club in the capital.
“Our movement will continue until the trial is finished and Jamaat's politics is banned,†said Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, secretary general of the parishad.
ABM Faruk, acting president of Dhaka University Teachers' Association, spoke among others.
