Heroin seized, 3 held in Rajshahi
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-5) arrested three alleged drug paddlers with a kilogramme of heroin worth Tk 1 crore from Muktijuddho Smriti Stadium area in Rajshahi city yesterday.
The arrestees are Sabuj, 20, Shahabul Hossain, 22, and Mithun, 32.
Rab also seized a motorcycle, four train tickets and Tk 40,000 from them.
During interrogation, the arrestees said they would handover the heroin to someone at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, said Rab.
