Worker dies from electrocution
A construction worker died from electrocution while working at the site of an under construction showroom in the capital's Azimpur yesterday afternoon.
The 20-year-old Mohammad Sohel, a mason, came in touch with a live electric wire while going to a bathroom.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared him dead.
Azizul Haque, officer-in-charge of Lalbagh Police Station, said they visited the spot and were investigating.
